Silver Creek Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing with a current Registered Nurse RN license to join our dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee the delivery of comprehensive nursing care services.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding nursing staff to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to nursing staff.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
- Support the Director of Nursing in maintaining relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Assist in coordinating staff education and training programs.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate evidence-based practices.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse RN license in good standing.
- Leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Proficiency in healthcare software and computer applications.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Understanding of person-centered care and a commitment to exceptional service.
