Field Technician

Job Summary:

4 day work-week!

Our eight year old family business is looking for an energetic person that is

As a technician with our small business, we are looking for someone that

enjoys working outdoors, cares about the customer-experience, and believes

Our business specializes in limiting the commercial impact of deer damage

by safely deterring them from harming our customer properties. As this is a

unique field, we are therefore willing to train and get the right person

licensed, which would lead to an increase in pay.

The Main Responsibilities:

· Management of daily service route.

· Treatment with organic/natural sprays and repellents to prevent pest and

animal damage.

· Present a great attitude.

· Positive customer interactions when needed.

· Drive safely to customer locations

Necessary Skills:

 Valid driver’s license with good record

 Desire to learn.

 Ability to handle a backpack sprayer and backpack blower.

 Good mathematical skills for mixing chemicals (predominately organic/natural).

Desired skills: (Not required)

 Plant identification.

 Ability to tow a trailer

 Mechanical skills

 Current VDACS Commercial Applicators license or Registered Technician’s

license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
