SimIS Inc, an innovative information technology solution Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), is currently seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our administrative team. This role will manage the day-to-day human resources function of the company as well as administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs including training and development. This role will also manage employee onboarding and out-processing, benefit administration, compensation, employee relations and performance, internship program, organizational development, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation.

HR Generalist Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Employee onboarding and orientation to include training and development requirements.
- Managing internship programs.
- Keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and ensuring adherence within the company.
- Policy development, documentation, and training.
- Maintain and update corporate documents, i.e. Company Handbook, etc.
- Prepare and maintain reports necessary for compliance, i.e. EEO, BLS and AAP.
- Manage employee benefits administration to include annual open enrollment and new hire enrollment.
- Manage and maintain performance reviews to include annual and 90 day as well as employee relations and improvement.
- Conduct exit interviews and employee out-processing.
- Perform other related duties as required.
HR Generalist Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working with ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks preferred.
- Efficiency utilizing MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail is critical.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and results-oriented capabilities.
- Must be able to work professionally with confidential information.
- Good interpersonal skills, decision making skills and judgement.
- A working knowledge of employment law and legislation.
- Government contracting experience preferred.
- Recruiting experience including social media platforms ideal.
