We are looking for a Wine Consultant to help our wine store and tasting room assist guests with wine recommendations and pairings and create exceptional events focusing on exemplary service in order to exceed guests expectations and drive brand awareness and sales. to creat with our sales. This person will help us create and execute seamless, one of a kind, and charasmatic wine events, further enhancing brand recognition and core values.

Responsibilities

• Help customers select boutiqe wines and beer based on the customer’s needs and preferences by providing knowledge and showcasing expertise.
• Explain wine products to customers, including tasting notes, ratings, and reviews.
• Foster long-term customer relationships by building relationships with new and existing customers and ensuring customers needs are heard and met, while exceeding expectations.
• Manage website to promote new products, services, events, and promotions
• Manage sales leads from cold calls, newsletter requests, interactions with public.
• Create marketing materials for new products, services, and promotions, and events.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales through social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
• Create exceptional wine tasting events showcasing excellent wine service.
• Assit and manage team during wine tasting events using attention to detail to set-up, facilitate, and help clean before, during, and after.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Wine Consultant or similar role in retail wine sales, fine dining, and/or bartending.
• Experience with POS systems (like Square) is a plus but not required.
• Solid knowledge of wine products in all categories is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to build lasting relationships with people by utilizing excellent customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour
