Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Fiscal Manager to join our team with Simpson Community Living Adult Residential Services. In the group home busines licensed by the Department of Behavior Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS), the ideal candidate will work with other members of administration and have a strong background in financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial management. This is a contracted position with great incentives to produce a series and promote themselves.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Finance department
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Develop and implement cost accounting strategies to optimize financial performance
- Conduct technical accounting research and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., GAAP, GASB)
- Prepare, process, file, and record financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and decision-making processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is required
- Proven experience in accounting, financial management, and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
