THE JOB
As SimX’s marketing and SEO specialist, you will join our fast-growing business development and sales team to increase key business metrics and improve continued customer communication. To this end, you will be responsible for driving qualified traffic to key web pages and improving conversion rates through organic channels. You will also help to create and strategize on SimX’s company-wide marketing efforts. If you enjoy the challenge of each day being different than the last, then this role is perfect for you!
This is a full-time remote work position with salary and stock option compensation and benefits. Candidates will primarily be expected to work during business hours Pacific Standard Time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help improve overall website optimization
- Collaborate on new SEO-optimized content
- Consistently manage SEO and track key growth metrics
- Develop media that reflects our company’s purpose
- Help build marketing plans for customer-facing events
- Help improve customer email follow-up campaigns to maintain effective communication
- Participate in creating a company-wide marketing plan
- Participate in and contribute to all marketing campaigns
OUR COMPANY
SimX is a fast-growing startup bringing virtual and augmented reality to medical simulation training. Our product is the first comprehensive professional-grade VR medical simulation system, and it is used by our customers to train physicians, nurses, paramedics and other allied health professionals. Since our product has become generally available, demand has exploded and we're in need of new team members to move our product forward.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree, or comparable experience
- 2 years of professional experience with marketing and operations
- Substantial experience with common office and sales tools such as Microsoft Teams/Slack, Wordpress, SEMRush (or similar SEO management tools), Google Analytics, Google Docs/Microsoft Office, and others
- Self-motivated, meticulous, and organized problem-solver who will get the job done
- Willing to work on a flexible schedule, including potential occasional early morning or evening meetings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Permanent residence in the United States
- Willingness to travel for work
PREFERRED SKILLS

- Degree specifically in marketing, communications, business management, or related field
- Professional experience within the healthcare industry
