Contract Physical Therapist
Job Summary: This position requires assessing, evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for children birth through age two to improve the child’s functional ability to perform tasks at home and in other environments and correct or compensate for medical problems. Treatment is directed toward the prevention or minimization of a disability. Medically prescribed physical therapy treatment may also be provided for older patients suffering from injury or disease, to restore function, relieve pain, to prevent disability, or minimize the effects of a disability.
Work Environment: Work environment varies with the location of the service recipient. Possible exposure to both heat and cold. Frequent travel required in Gibson, Warrick, and Vanderburgh Counties.
