What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Risk Consultant (Virtual) position at SIRVA?
The Real Estate Risk Consultant is responsible for managing both SIRVA and our Corporate Clients risk through proper mitigation and controls of the home sale program. The position collaborates with the service delivery team to bring a high level of real estate expertise to each transferring employee’s relocation. The Real Estate Risk Consultant should have an expertise in both general real estate knowledge (home sale, inspection, appraisal, etc.) and customer service. Knowledge of real estate appraisal methodology and practice in regards to WorldWide ERC appraisal reports is required. The position requires the ability to balance customer needs along with SIRVAs financial growth opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITES
40% •Responsible for maximizing home sale performance. This may include: developing market strategy, managing marketing incentives and concessions, offer negotiation, reviewing appraisals and establishing the guaranteed purchase offer, reviewing inspections and developing repairs lists.
40% • Responsible for partnering with the Relocation Consultant and other team members throughout the organization to deliver a high level of customer service while mitigating SIRVAs risk.
20% • Assist the training department as requested/needed. This would include mentoring for on-the-job training, employee development and acting as a subject matter expert. Provide direction and feedback to new team members and constructive performance feedback to management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS
•5 Years business experience, appraisal industries required
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage the financials and drive the necessary client/internal metrics
• Must be able to manage priorities and deadlines
• Understanding and embracing the direction/strategy of SIRVA
• Strong oral and written skills
• Must be organized, able to function as part of a team, be quality focused
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong computer skills (Excel)
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• High school degree required • Undergraduate degree preferred • Current or former appraiser license required
We anticipate the pay range for this role $48,640 - $60,800. Actual compensation will be based on skills and experience.
