Mechanical Assembler
1st shift, 6am-2pm, (2-10 min paid breaks & a 20 min. paid lunch)
$18 - $21 Based on experience
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Use common hand tools, power tools and machinery in the production of simple to moderate assemblies
- Required to work with a variety of materials: steel, sheet metal, aluminum, brass, solvents, oils and abrasives
- Identify and kit parts necessary for assembly
- Understand and work with Manufacturing Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
- Is familiar and practice all factory safety procedures and guidelines
- Able to lift 50 pounds
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6-12 months of related experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings and schematics
- Understanding and experience in Lean manufacturing environment
- Writing skills required to complete documents and forms
