What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accessibility Analyst position at Siteimprove?
As an Accessibility Analyst, you will join a team responsible for scoping, testing, reporting, and delivering detailed analyses of customers’ websites and mobile apps. What you will be doing
Perform accessibility tests on individual pages in line with Siteimprove’s testing standards
Use the Siteimprove platform to uncover trends in accessibility compliance and provide a comprehensive analysis of customers’ digital properties
Learn, understand, and stay current with accessibility guidelines (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Section 508, and Accessibility Conformance Testing rules)
Build and maintain competency with screen readers and other assistive technology to complete accessibility test reports
Collaborate with Customers to achieve accurate Scopes of Work for manual accessibility testing projects
Contribute to group efforts aimed at delivering accessible websites, mobile apps, and content by conducting quality assurance evaluations and documenting results in concise, clear language using Siteimprove’s templates
Identify and explain trends across a multitude of test cases against a set of web pages for senior leadership
Facilitate conversations and present testing results with customers’ multi-disciplinary teams
Review artifacts and deliverables from peers to ensure they accurately represent or improve upon our processes, procedures, the internal accessibility knowledgebase
Work concurrently on multiple projects and balance competing deadlines in an agile environment
Assist in the development and presentation of remediation strategies
Perform other duties as assigned
What we require of you
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Valid Passport
Travel as needed; may include weekends
What we'll love about you
Proficiency in web accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and ACT-R)
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
1 years of experience performing accessibility testing1 years of experience using screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Talkback, and others.
Self-starter with a demonstrated record of acquiring knowledge beyond what is needed to complete assigned tasks
Superior ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience in direct sales, project management or client communications

Salary Range:
$49K- 66K- Base pay will depend on the position, individual qualifications, market, and other operational business needs.
