The Project Specialist will assist with project planning and oversight. The Project Specialist will coordinate with project managers and provide support to deliver projects within the established budget and timeline. This role provides inventory tracking and a multitude of data analytic support for a wide variety of utility construction projects.
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $25.00

Essential Functions:

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain, monitor, and organize project documents.
- Create, Organize, and distribute bid documents.
- Develop and maintain project related databases and reports.
- Collect, track, analyze, and report on a large volume of project data that is provided by Project Coordinator and Operational Teams.
- Develop or modify project plans and track their progress.
- Coordinates and schedules project teams meetings
- Assist and support field management on projects and daily business needs.
- Contribute to the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of project communication.
- Carry out a range of administrative tasks including filing, archiving, document registration, maintaining databases, etc.
Success Factors:
- Can multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong Time Management Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with all customers (internal/external).
- Experience working with underground utilities platforms preferred.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with others.
- Strong customer service skills, ability to build relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent desired
- 2 years of experience in an administrative support position.
- Prior administrative experience in a construction setting required.
- Experience working with underground utilities desired.
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
- Possession of a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required.
- Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
