Job Summary
Six Flags Over Texas seeks a dynamic individual to develop and lead a high-performance Operations team, focusing on office, dispatch, and administrative support for Ride Operations, Admissions, Park Services, and Entertainment.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Supervises all operations office functions, including dispatch, scheduling, and tracking downtime, throughput, and park attendance.
· Develops the operations office leadership team and creates a high-performance team culture.
· Works closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Safety leadership teams to minimize ride downtime and maximize the safety and throughput of the rides and attractions by examining trend analysis in weekly downtime and throughput reports.
· Ensure that active employee lists are accurate and up-to-date.
· Process promotions, disciplinary action and other employment activities.
· Responsible for ensuring Team Member schedules are accurate, timely, and complaint with company policy.
· Ensures compliance with all corporate, park, and departmental policies and procedures related to administration – including certifications, safety checks, and rotation logs.
· Maintains day-to-day supervisory patrols and presence throughout the park property.
· Willing to cross train and assist with all other duties as assigned by Management.
Organizational Structure
· Reports for the Operations Senior Managerial Supervisor.
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Following
· Two to three years of progressive management experience, preferably in theme park operations.
· Self-driven and strategic professional with the ability to select, train, and lead a diverse team.
· Organized and meticulously detail-oriented. Strong initiative. Energetic. Outgoing. Can-do attitude.
· A clear criminal background record and valid state driver’s license.
· Strong leadership, organization and computer skills (Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word).
· Excellent communication skills – both oral and written – and organizational and administrative skills.
· Must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
