What you will do:
As our Customer Service Specialist, you will be on a team that is the central point of contact with our customers. You will be expected to provide an exceptional customer experience while offering effective solutions in a timely manner. This position will work in our Detroit Lakes, MN location.
The job:
Every day, your primary role will be to accurately and professionally correspond with customers via phone and email. You will answer product/service questions, provide delivery status updates and tracking information, resolve issues in a timely manner and engage other departments within the company as needed. You will process standard catalog product orders by entering data into our ERP system, entering commissions and sending confirmations to customers. You will be expected to collaborate with a variety of functional areas including sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain and operations to support our customers.
The skills you need:
To succeed in this role, you must be extremely detail orientated. You must possess excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external customers. You must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational skills. Experience in customer service is preferred as is the use of Microsoft Teams.
