- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field of study
- 5 years minimum experience in Human Resources
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Self-Starter and self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate
- Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information, strong work ethic, reliability, teamwork and flexibility
- Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (i.e., functions, authorities, tasks, etc.)
- Plan, direct and manage all human resource initiatives, such as compensation, recruitment, benefits and employee relations
- Administers or oversees the administration of the human resource department, but not limited to disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, annual performance reviews, open insurance renewals and wellness program in WI and WV
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends and provides various metric reports
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, stat and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintains knowledge of best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice and resources to upper management
- Oversees FMLA, STD, LTD, Worker's Compensation and EEO Reports
- Implements and maintains wellness initiatives for the organization
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
- Comply with Company's quality management systems requirements
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Interface internally with employees
- Interface externally with general public and be an ambassador for Skana Aluminum Company
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
