Job Description
The O2C Analyst will be responsible for the credit and collection activities for an assigned portfolio of accounts within the SKF North American shared service center. Responsible for maximizing AR collections and revenues while minimizing past dues balances and bad debt write-offs.

Job Description
The O2C Analyst will be responsible for the credit and collection activities for an assigned portfolio of accounts within the SKF North American shared service center. Responsible for maximizing AR collections and revenues while minimizing past dues balances and bad debt write-offs.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform the credit and collection activities for a portfolio of accounts as assigned by management
- Follow a defined process of prioritization and organization to achieve expected results
- Communicate credit decisions and issues in both verbal and written form to Customers, Sales, Customer Service, AR Management, and other internal customers
- Understand and follow SKF internal credit control policies and procedures. Provide input when performing periodic customer credit reviews
- Provide input and assist with implementing process improvement initiatives and quality reviews to simplify and improve productivity
- Identify the root cause for late payment and create actions for resolution
- Negotiate with customers to release payment or change unacceptable payment performance
- Escalate issues at the appropriate time to the responsible leaders
- Monitor and control deductions being taken by customers; specifically, pricing, rebates, and allowances
- A BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business or work equivalent
- Minimum 5 years related experience
- Experience with credit and collections with a manufacturing organization preferred
- Excellent prioritization and organization skills required
- Above average PC skills specifically with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel & Word)
- Proficient with ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Strong customer service background, specifically good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships both internally and externally
- Experience managing an assigned AR portfolio
- Demonstrated ability to improve or maximize results with credit and collections for an assigned AR portfolio
- Demonstrated ability to root cause and drive issues to a conclusion
- Conflict Management skills
- Self-starter and good team player
