This position resides within the Business Intelligence department of SKF Industrial Market US, reporting to Eric Daniel, Director, Analytics and Digital Support Services
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to data quality, data management, data policies, business process management, and risk management
- Assists with planning, integration, testing, and deployment data driven solutions
- Validate data sources meet requirements and analyze data quality identifying improvements and solutions for data gaps
- Support internal and external audits
- Partner with Business teams to understand their analytics needs and look for opportunities to enhance our product offering
- Partner with Business teams to understand and determine their digital needs
- Serve as an organizational expert on data
- Profile data within their assigned data domains to identify/prioritize areas with greatest data quality concerns
- Help identify metadata-related inconsistencies (data comparisons) across business areas and frame resolutions
- Provide frontline technical support and administration to business users
- Develop technology driven business strategies and solutions to deliver ongoing innovative growth opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years documenting and maintaining a Data Warehouse source or other data stores designed to be used as a source for data driven solutions
- 2 years’ industry experience working with data
- Fully proficient in Excel
- Experience with query languages a plus
- Previous Data Analysis experience
- 3 Year experience with BI Tools (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is preferred
- Previous governance role, developing and managing process
- Working knowledge of COH (AS400), Prod Mast, and C4C is preferred
- Knowledge of business rules and system coding is preferred
- Travel: As needed (i.e. less than 10%)

- Ability to flowchart data and business processes
- Ability to focus on complex data dependency details as well as maintaining an understanding of the high-level business strategy
- Excellent documentation skills with acute attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues)
- Proven ability to develop collaborative approaches
- Demonstrate analytical and technical ability and experience with databases and technologies (understanding of databases, and how data impacts analysis)
