Overview of Position:
The Club at Windham Mountain is a private club offering our members an Above & Beyond experience in dining, service and off the slopes relaxation with attention to quality. The Club Supervisor is a Supervisory position that includes management duties and responsibilities. The supervisor is responsible for the entire Club including lounges, the private locker room and restaurant; front of the house and kitchen. It involves training and supervision of front line staff regarding their interaction with Club members, and doing everything possible to ensure guest satisfaction. The supervisor will work closely with the chef to ensure a quality product. The Club Supervisor is responsible for maintaining Windham Mountain’s high standards of guest service, cleanliness and safety within the food & beverage department.

- The supervisor oversees all aspects of The Club, including the front of the house and kitchen operations.
- Perform supervisory functions including the recruiting, hiring, training, reviewing, and terminating staff as needed.
- Manage staff scheduling and payroll, and any other personnel issues that may arise.
- Work closely with staff to supervise and assist in overall day-to-day operations.
- Manage Club memberships and maintain clear lines of communication with Club members.
- Be visible and available to both members and staff, and interact with members to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure that diners are served properly and in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve members’ comments complaints about food quality, service, or any other problem pertaining to the Club.
- Facilitate communication between the kitchen staff and restaurant floor staff.
- Manage staff fairly; demonstrate excellent leadership behavior and high levels of professionalism.
- Participate in the organization and execution of special events to be hosted by the Club.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Work closely with the chef to create and approve menus.
- Plan, create and oversee the management of the Club operating budget.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Windham Mountain operations.

- Must have significant customer service experience.
- Must be self-motivated and organized.
- Must be comfortable interacting with both staff and guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Must be innovative and open-minded about improving the operation of the department.
- Must be able to independently evaluate situations and make quick decisions.
- Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Must be able to handle a crisis effectively
- Must have or obtain TIPS certification prior to starting work in the restaurant.
