Skillforce Inc. has openings for experienced Commercial Electricians in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Full Time Work
Starting pay is: $30.00 per hour
Commercial Electrician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service, installation, and repair electrical wiring and systems.
- Inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits
- Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Commercial Electrician Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire
- Minimum three (5) years’ experience in the electrical trade
- MC Cable pulling, splicing, and wall rough-in
- Basic conduit skills - ¾” – 1”
- Intermediate/advanced conduit skills - 1 ¼” – 4"
- Current Journeyman Electrician license
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
- Must be able to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
- Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold
