What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician position at Skillforce?
We are currently hiring for Electricians in Austin, TX for on-going commercial projects. We are specifically looking for electricians who have 3 years experience. Pay is $23 - $25 per hour based on experience and skill set.
Electrician Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service, install, and repair electrical wiring and systems.
- Inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits
- Identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards
- Knowledge of electrical construction practices including threading, bending conduit, and pulling/removing wire
- Installing, removing and bending conduit
- Experience working with voltages up to 480v
- Experience installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting/power systems
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Electrician Qualifications:
- 3 years commercial electrical experience
- Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
- Your own reliable transportation
- Your own tools
Salary: $23 - $25 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shift
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift
