Position Description

This Program Coordinator is a member of the Core Administrative Team and provides direct support to the Portfolio & Investments team. This team is responsible for sourcing and recommending candidates for the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, monitoring progress of past Awardees, and managing a portfolio of active grants and program related investments. As an administrative contributor, the Program Coordinator assists on a range of projects and tracks multiple deadlines, exhibiting customer focus, effective communication, and seamless planning and execution. The Coordinator’s work is primarily internal with occasional interactions with grantees and partners. We are looking for an individual who has confidence, curiosity and professional competency and who can assist the team with a variety of projects. Responsibilities

  • Assist with scheduling internal and external meetings and managing calendars
  • Assist with the logistics of meetings and other events, including reserving meeting facilities and catering
  • Coordinate and participate in twice weekly internal stand-ups and monthly round- ups for the Portfolio and Investments Team
  • Assist with international and domestic travel arrangements, including visas
  • Assist with expense reports
  • Assist with compiling major documents
  • Manage contact information and updates for nominees, Awardees, and partners in SalesForce
  • Respond promptly and appropriately, routing as required, to a variety of email, telephone and written communications
  • Support team use of technology, such as Salesforce and Microsoft 365, and tools to ensure effective and efficient knowledge management
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Participate in core administrative team efforts to support general foundation meetings and activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years progressively responsible administrative experience required
  • AA degree or equivalent desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and performing research on the Internet; experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications
  • Demonstrated ability to operate standard office machines and equipment
