What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Product Marketing Manager position at Skupos?
Role. What we're looking for:
We are looking for a PMM that can work across our developing product portfolio to own our go-to-market (GTM) efforts for both new and existing products. The PMM role provides the opportunity to help to solidify Skupos’ vision, market leadership, value proposition, and differentiation. This includes demonstrating thought leadership, coordinating market messaging, and supporting collateral development.
Responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and our field functions to align product priorities and goals; developing, managing, and implementing an integrated strategy across multiple products, customer segments, and personas
- Support pilot, rollout, and national product launches to ensure all functions are launch ready and all launch aspects go smoothly
- Develop user personas and conduct competitive research to best position and market our product suite
- Partner with marketing, sales, and customer support to deliver measurable business growth, including network and revenue growth, customer retention, and client satisfaction; working closely with the field to drive effective and consistent messaging of the product across the market
- Serve as the SME across the marketing and GTM organizations for supported product lines
- Create comprehensive lines of communication to our retailer base to support programs on Skupos Engage
- Evangelize products through thought leadership and communication to help internal and external stakeholders understand and advocate for Skupos technology
- Team up with content marketing to build a clear story across the market around the Skupos platform today and in the future
Skills & Experience. We are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
- 5 years of Product Marketing/Management experience
- Track record in the creation and development of product strategy, market positioning, and brand messaging
- 2 years of experience in fast-paced growth business, ideally in a B2B SaaS platform
- Demonstrated ability to take a high level of initiative in a fluid and evolving environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities
- High integrity and excellent interpersonal skills; showing the ability to quickly build effective working relationships with others at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong business judgment, combining both creativity and flexibility
- Strong detail orientation and organization
- Exposure to product/project management tools (Jira, Confluence) and marketing/sales automation tools (Marketo, Salesforce) a plus
Salary is based on location and experience.
Salary range in Denver, CO: $110,000 - $120,000.
