Finance Systems Analyst

As a Systems Analyst in the Account to Report team within Global Finance Operations, you’ll support the delivery of accounting and reporting services to our Commercial Finance customers based in Osterley, Munich & Milan maintaining a well controller and efficient environment. What you’ll do: Work closely with the GPO team to support the capture and documentation of business requirements and any other ad hoc analysis as required Conduct master data maintenance activities Complete period close activities, including preforming period close entries to include opening & closing ledgers, rolling over the ledger Working with end users and continuous improvement team to deliver projects Support any system testing and cut-over activities Working closely with the Service Desk and Group ERP teams to support investigations and solutioning with internal IT teams Be able to translate user and front end issues into technical SAP language Have a strong understanding of the SAP structures to aid investigations and solutions Support the Service Desk where required to provide ‘how to’ advice on best use of the financial system and user training Perform Ad hoc tasks as and when required What you’ll bring: You will be a financial professional with great experience and knowledge of SAP You will likely have worked with or for large and complex organisations In systems support roles, you will have had experience in configuration, master data management and user support Strong stakeholder management skills, and ability to communicate at all levels effectively Ability to recommend improvements Team overview: Finance Delivery We enable Sky to succeed by ensuring we are a cost effective, scalable operation delivering great service in an agile and responsive way.
