POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the daily business operations of our retail stores. General tasks include supervising employees, positively communicating with and helping customers, carrying out directives given by the Store Manager, and contributing to a positive work environment for employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment
- Effectively communicate all store needs to Store Manager
- Meet and exceed store sales goals and standards of performance
- Assist in recruiting and hiring talent for store as needed
- Assist in training and developing new Retail Specialists and Department Managers
- Coach and develop team members to ensure excellence in sales, customer service, and processes
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues effectively
- Assist in receiving, maintaining and monitoring Inventory
- Have a solid understanding of all compliance regulations provided by the MRA
- Maintain and enforce controls and procedures to ensure store remains compliant
- Prepare zone charts and pre-shift meetings
- Open and close the store as needed
- Responsible for accurate deposits and cash handling
- Support Marketing and promotions
- Ensure visual excellence through product placement, closing standards, and implementation of seasonal set-ups from Home Office.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt for needs of the business.
- Has initiative to take on tasks, set own priorities and deadlines and problem solve in the moment
- Other duties as assigned.
