We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team at our Plymouth, MI. location.
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our financial planning and analysis efforts. You will work closely with the finance team and various departments to analyze financial data, generate insights, and contribute to strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to provide insights, forecasts, and recommendations that drive business growth and efficiency.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team at our Plymouth, MI. location.
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our financial planning and analysis efforts. You will work closely with the finance team and various departments to analyze financial data, generate insights, and contribute to strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to provide insights, forecasts, and recommendations that drive business growth and efficiency.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs in depth financial analysis to support decision making, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling.
- Collects, validates, and maintains financial data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Generate and distribute regular financial reports to key stakeholders.
- .Assist in the development and maintenance of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Analyze cost structures, pricing strategies, and cost-saving opportunities to enhance profitability
- Evaluate for financial risks and recommend strategies for mitigation
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and tools to manipulate and analyze large datasets
- Develop and maintain financial models
- Participate in special projects and incentives as required
- Highly Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis or related field
- Strong analytical and problem -solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
