Job Description
The RF Engineering Co-Op will work closely with design engineers, technicians and layout engineers developing products for wireless mobile systems. Work activities will include: circuit simulation, lab testing of circuits, presentation of design expectations/results, and participation in design reviews.
Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or PhD program studying Electrical Engineering and available from January to November 2023
Must be returning to school following the Co-Op
Familiar with ADS, Cadence, SPICE, Momentum/HFSS, or similar simulation tools to assist in design evaluation and debugging of RF circuitry
Completed coursework in RF, Microwave/Antenna, or Wireless Technologies (i.e. Smith Chart and S Parameters) preferred
Exposure to RF test equipment such as Function Generator, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc. preferred
Excellent communication (both written and verbal), organization, and documentation skills
Must have experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Ideally, experience working on a small team and presenting knowledge to peers
Must be returning to school following the Co-Op
