Weekly:
two shifts: 11PM-7AM and
two shifts: 3PM-11PM
We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to make our guests feel welcome and ensure their pleasant and comfortable stay at our hotel. What is the role of a Guest Service Agent? GSA responsibilities include greeting clients as they arrive, coordinating their check-ins to assigned rooms and informing them about the hotel’s facilities. You will make sure our front-desk staff, including room attendant, breakfast attendants, and all other departments of the hotel, offer stellar customer service and provide memorable hospitality experiences for our guests.
If you have previous hospitality experience and are familiar with hotel procedures, like bookings, selling, storage and check-in/check-out processes, we’d like to meet you. Our ideal candidates have a flair for communication, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner. Ultimately, you will manage guest services and our hotel’s image by answering guests’ requests and making sure our visitors are satisfied.
Must be available Nights and Rotating Weekends

Multi-tasking ability to work with guests, answer phones and detailed communication with other departments.
Customer Service in a face to face setting, i.e Retail, Receptionist, Wait-Staff, etc.
Qualified Candidates will be able to:
Represent the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest’s stay.
Determine a guest’s reservation status and identifies how long the guest will stay.
Help guests complete registration cards and then assigns rooms accommodating special requests whenever possible.
Verify the guest’s method of payment and follows established credit checking procedures.
Place guest and room information in the appropriate front desk racks, and communicates this information to the appropriate hotel personnel.
Work closely with the housekeeping department in keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
Maintain guest room key storage, and maintains and supervises access to safe deposit boxes.
Must be sales-minded. Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices.
Know the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the best possible lodging experience for each guest.
Follow the employee handbook grooming and appearance guidelines.
Registers guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
Assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit, check-cashing, and cash-handling policies and procedures.
Understand room status and room status tracking.
Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms
Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department.
Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary.
Knows cancellation procedures.
Knows how to use front office equipment.
Processes guest check-outs.
Uses proper telephone etiquette.
Uses proper mail, package, and message handling procedures.Reads and initials the pass-on log and bulletin board daily.
Coordinates guestroom maintenance work with the engineering and maintenance division.
Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.Understand that business demands sometimes make it necessary to move employees form their accustomed shift to other shifts.
