Sloan is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team. This role is a hybrid role, working on-site three (3) days a week in our Chicago Fulton Market office. This role also requires that the incumbent report to our Franklin Park office up to twice a month. As a part of the Total Rewards team, the Senior Compensation Analyst will research, design, implement, and evaluate various compensation, rewards, and recognition programs that support the attraction, engagement, and retention of top talent. This role offers an opportunity to develop knowledge in other areas of total rewards as part of the team. This position will also be responsible for larger-scale system-wide projects related to compensation. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone with the aptitude to understand and work with complex data; demonstrates a take-action mindset in a changing environment and can demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy from start to finish in developing programs and completing projects.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of compensation projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new programs.
- Perform deep analysis on the effectiveness, efficiency, and competitiveness of existing compensation programs, policies, and processes. Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to identify key trends and opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional partners on the design, implementation, and administration of wage structures, incentives, and rewards program sin support of organizational goals, pay equity, and transparency.
- Serves as SME on projects for larger compensation initiatives. Supports and identifies opportunities for enhancement and change in compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Recommends and implements approved changes to process and policy.
- Assists in the annual compensation planning cycle including testing and ensuring proper functionality of the compensation planning system.
- Build models and conduct analyses supporting compensation programs, special projects, and annual budgeting processes.
- Create and support communication and change management efforts for compensation programs to increase understanding across the organization.
- Partner with other team members, Legal, Finance, and Payroll to complete required pay equity compliance reporting.
- Prepare necessary presentations, scorecards, trends, and graphical illustrations for leadership reviews of compensation programs.
- Works with HRIS to ensure updates regarding compensation-related HR data in the system of record. Acts as a compensation subject matter expert on system implementations impacting compensation.
- Participate in compensation surveys in all pertinent countries, maintain market data database with up-to-date job matching at all times, including loading new survey data, employee data, and job matches.
- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and people leaders to keep job descriptions up-to-date and ensure they align with the market.
- Ensure compensation programs are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Mentor and partner with other members of the team as the subject matter expert on the compensation, recognition, and rewards programs for the Company.
- Participate in total rewards program surveys.

- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 Years Experience developing, implementing, and administering compensation, recognition, and rewards programs; base pay, variable pay, pay equity, pay transparency, and developing policies, and processes for compliance and organizational success. Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of salary administration practices including; job analysis, benchmarking, pay equity analysis, pay structure development, incentive plan design, reporting, and other compensation or variable pay techniques.
- Ability to use discretion when working with confidential information.
- Advanced level experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word,Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- 2 Years Experience administering or developing human resource policy, employee benefit plans, and communications. Knowledge of employee benefit programs including health and welfare, retirement, leaves of absence, etc.

- Manufacturing Industry experience.
