Well-respected and thriving worker’s compensation law firm in Brookfield, WI is seeking a full-time Office Manager to join its team of legal professionals.
The ideal candidate will possess experience as a Manager/Office Manager, be proficient with QuickBooks Online, and recognize the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
Having law firm experience and a working knowledge with legal billing software, such as TimeSolv, would be a plus, but we are willing to mentor the right candidate that is committed to being a member of our successful practice.
The Office Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the firm’s business operations, attorneys, and staff. Each day is different and being able to pivot and multitask is essential. Some day-to-day responsibilities are listed below and are not all inclusive nor limited to the following:
- Accounts receivable and payable.
- Processing credit card expenditures and employee expense reimbursements.
- Process online banking deposits and ACH transactions.
- Prepare and post cash basis general ledger and trust account entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Manage and process payroll, PTO records, and attendance records.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, systems, and equipment.
- Initiate, coordinate, and monitor business related projects and employee welfare.
- Human Resource functions, including supervising, providing information as to employee benefits, recruiting, and implementing disciplinary measures.
- Coordinate and administer all business insurances, employee insurance benefits and 401k plans along with any necessary audits.
- Preserve the firm’s client and vendor relationships and company values through decision making, problem solving and time management.
- Microsoft Office proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
