As the demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we are looking for friendly, excited, motivated, professional individuals to join our stellar team of Solar Sales Associates.As a Solar Sales Associate, you willeducate new and/or potential customers on the benefits of solar energy for their home/business with the goal of setting up qualified appointments with our Solar Sales Consultants. Solar Sales Associates must have strong verbal/written communication skills, excellent listening skills and be comfortable providing education, information and answering customer questions in a positive manner to overcome any concerns or objections.

Responsibilities:
- Promoting various solar offerings and promotions through sourcing, self-generated leads and appointments with potential customers
- Networking and developing new sales opportunities by scheduling appointments through outbound calling or knocking doors
- Overcoming objections and educating customers on the short- and long-term benefits of renewable energy
- Handling in-bound lead flow, follow-ups, and email outreach
- Routing qualified leads to the Solar Sales Consultants
- Collaborate and communicate with the Solar Sales Consultants
- Participating in company led events to generate sales
- Attending company and/or team meetings
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Self-confidence and superior customer service skills
- Highly persuasive, self-disciplined and honest work ethic
- Minimum 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to monitor relationships with prospective customers through CRM systems
- Strong phone presence and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work hard-play hard mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in technology
- Proven follow-up and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions/information and follow policy/procedures
- Ability to walk for long periods when canvassing
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have cell phone (preferably a smartphone)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
