About the Role
As a QA Engineer, you'll oversee the planning, design, development, and execution of manual and automated test suites for the SmartHop platform. You'll work with members of the release management organization, and product & engineering teams to create smoke, regression, and feature test suites, and plan for automated solutions to execute and validate against every build. You will need to work with cross-functional peers to develop manual and automated test suites for existing (and new) features adhering to quality standards on both mobile and desktop platforms. You will need to be a strong quality advocate, working closely with software engineers, DevOps, designers, and product managers to release high-quality products.
Location: Bogota, Colombia.
Key responsibilities of this role will be:
- Identify bugs and issues
- Maintain Documentation
- Coordinate bug fixes with development teams
- Execute functional, regression, and acceptance tests
- Create and maintain test data and test documentation
- Help with re-evaluating the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules
What the Candidate Will Need
- BS or BA degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in QA for consumer-facing products
- 3 years of relevant QA technical experience with at least 1 years of experience in mobile device testing on iOS and Android
- Experience in automation testing frameworks
- Experience working with CI systems (Jenkins etc.)
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment
- Experience creating clear and concise test suites
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
