Role: Security Operation Specialist
Location: Irvine, CA or Irving, Texas (Hybrid)
Duration: Fulltime
5 Years of experience in Security with hands-on experience in security operations and monitoring
Perform the policy change request for security devices as per requirement.
Adherence to ITSM process and SLA adherence
Perform capacity and performance monitoring on the security solution components
Ensure the security solutions are patched and signatures are up to date (n-1 version) as per standards
experience in cyber security support in the technology areas like Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Firepower, Meraki)
Perform incident management to resolve incident tickets and service requests
Monitor the security solution components dashboard (or Console) on periodic basis and report/log security incident proactively as per the standard operating procedures.
Generate reports as per the requirement
Strong understanding in network and security concepts.
Periodically update the KEDB database
Desired Process Certifications: ITIL V3 foundation
Desired Technology Certifications: CEH, CompTIA Security , CCNA CyberOps, CCNA Security/similar
