Job Summary: Responsible for facilities maintenance and minor repairs as well as cleaning duties.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs general cleaning, sanitizing and janitorial duties throughout the property.
• Performs maintenance service and minor repairs as needed.
• Uses a variety of janitorial equipment, including commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners; ensures equipment stays clean, safe and operable.
• Performs limited grounds maintenance such as shoveling and removing snow from walkways.
• Sets up rooms for meetings and company functions.
• Refills supplies in restrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Keeps the facilities maintenance area clean, organized and safe; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.

Essential Qualifications:

• A high school diploma / GED.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Desirable Qualifications:

• One year of related experience.

ADA Requirements:

• Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift or otherwise move frequently for extended periods
• Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently, or more occasionally
• Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously
• Exposure to machine shop physical hazards including chemicals which may require respiratory protection
• Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
