What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor - Central Sterile Processing position at SMC?
To organize, observe and direct the activities of the Central Supply Staff as it relates to the cleaning, disinfect ion and sterilization of patient use items and instruments for individual hospital departments. Previous experience as central sterile technician or instrument technician required. Direct employee supervision experience with progressive responsibilities required.
CRCST(Certified Registered Central Services Technician) through IAHCSMM or other recognized/accredited program within two years of hire required. CHL – Certified Healthcare Leadership Certificate through IAHCSMM or other recognized accredited program preferred.
