Part Time, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or a combination of days

Smile Starters is a general dental practice that chooses to see ages 1 through 20. We are committed to educating our young patients on best practices for optimal dental health between visits. We find that working with the youngest members of our community leads to the best long-term results - rewarding for our dedicated team of Hygienists and Dentists who love to see the results of their work. Job Duties:

  • Review Medical History with parent/guardian or patient.
  • Take x-rays when appropriate
  • Scale and Polish teeth
  • Write chart notes
  • Assist Dentist with charting the exam
  • Gain permission from parents/guardians for sealants
  • Speak with parents/guardians regarding today's visit
  • Other duties as assigned to assist team


Ideal Candidate:

  • Enjoys teamwork (our hygienists have a dedicated group of DA II's to assist in seeing our young patients)
  • Enjoys working with children
  • Likes a bright, happy environment
  • Professional and friendly with great bedside manner
  • Enjoys a busy active day


Requirements:

  • NC Dental Hygienist License
  • CPR Certified
