Your Opportunity
Hourly Rate: $17.50
Operates a vehicle with capacity for wean pigs, to transport pigs to and from specific destinations. *** Must have Driver's License and an acceptable driving record***
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner to transport pigs to destination.
- Maintain proper environment on trailer to ensure healthy arrival of pigs.
- Inspect vehicle and equipment for necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Load pigs onto trailer at sow farm. Maintain proper count of pigs.
- Assist with farm husbandry duties inside sites.
- Wash and disinfect vehicle daily.
- Prepare and maintain proper shipping documents.
- Maintain proper state/federal operating license.
- Incumbent will be responsible for understanding and complying with company EMS, SIPS, and BMS policies and procedures in the performance of their job duties.
- Report all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.
- Read and understand the company's emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site.
