Summary/Objective 
Provides general support to the service department and assists with the Company RMA process. This position also works closely with the installation team to manage spare parts inventory and ensuring timely shipment and repair of spare parts for the client. When assigned, this position will perform some logistics coordinator duties when a member of the logistics team is out of office.

 

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  1. Supports the service and installation department for various tasks and projects as assigned.
  2. Answers the service phone line and forwards all issues to the correct personnel.
  3. Provides back up and support to the logistics coordinator as needed.
  4. Maintains all paperwork for RMA and correspondence to the factory on repairs.
  5. Maintains all paperwork related to service for the Knoxville warehouse. Works closely with other members of the service team on inventory of spare parts.
  6. Creates all shipping labels and paperwork needed for spare part repairs.
  7. Manages all shipping and receiving to the Knoxville warehouse.
  8. Assists with proposals when necessary.

This position does not require supervisory responsibilities at this time.

  This job operates in a professional office and warehouse environment.

 

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of standing or walking may be required.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. at a time.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Travel

This position does not require travel.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. High School Diploma
  2. At least two years relevant experience
