About You 

In this role, you’ll be crafting the future of hourly work. You need to genuinely care about the hourly worker and building products that help them thrive. You love being able to connect user needs with business goals and you obsess over creating simple, intuitive and delightful user experiences. You are passionate about your craft and solving problems and believe that design has the power to make the world better. 

What You’ll Get to Do 

• Bring creativity and innovation to help create the next generation of recruiting solutions for the hourly worker 
• Work cross functionally with product and engineering partners, facilitate design discussions, and create world class experiences. 
• Create artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, sketches) essential for discovery; lead discovery and user research sessions, engage our audiences, and ensure design quality 
• Understand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience  
• Participate in the discovery and planning of new products and features while helping drive the design vision across our product suite 
• Simplify and distill complex business processes into intuitive product experiences 

What You’ll Bring

• Experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices for complex products. Experience designing native Android or Apple apps a plus 
• A portfolio that demonstrates strength in visual design, storytelling, and experience designing modern, usable interactions and UIs 
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills, both when interfacing with customers as well as when working with varying levels of the organization. You can effectively articulate your design decisions and incorporate feedback
• A passion for staying up-to-date on current industry-best design principles and trends.
• A passion for people, not just design: strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills allowing you to work closely with and influence a cross-functional team
• You can create a wide variety of UX deliverables that fit the specific design challenge, including – sketches, wireframes, and clickable prototypes 
• Expert knowledge of Figma  
• Knowledge of UX/UI accessibility standards are a plus

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act Information: The starting base salary range for individuals applying to work virtually from Colorado for this position is $135,000 to $165,000. Full time employees are also eligible for Snagajob’s bonus, equity, and benefits programs. This range is not necessarily indicative of the associated starting pay range in other locations.
