Participate in HSE network
- Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Plant ISO14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and continual improvement of site environmental performance
- Participate in EMS Cross Functional Team meetings
- Carry out HSE Department member responsibilities established in the Spring Hill Plant EMS
- Monitor legal compliance and assist with the site's relations with local government and regulatory organizations
- Assist in site preparations for regulatory inspections
- Assist with the reporting of HSE indicators (FR0t, environmental data, ...)
- Partner with plant and corporate program teams on new program launches
- Assist with emergency preparedness and response actions
- Support engineering team with portions of Standard Operating Procedures
- Conduct and/or participate in HSE audits
- Investigate accidents and develop preventative initiatives
- Address plant ergonomic issues
- Assist in establishing and maintaining healthy and safe work conditions for employees, and running processes in an environmentally sustainable way
- Assist in the development, maintenance and enforcement of site level HSE programs and associated training
- Advise managers on HSE matters and make recommendations
- Analyse the site risks and bring solutions to improve the working conditions; the level of industrial safety; and respect of the environment
- Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy
- Conform to requirements established in Spring Hill Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions
- Ensure members in assigned area(s) of responsibility conform to relevant HSE requirements
Qualifications:
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere
- Support environmental programs to achieve objectives and targets
- Knowledge of HSE tools and methods: 5 why methodology, job instruction, audits, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18000…
- Knowledge of national legislation
- General knowledge of automotive production plant technologies
- Strong teamwork sense
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, organizational, and administrative skills are essential
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Health, Safety & Environment related degree
- Experience in a plant or in an industrial environment
- Proficient level of English
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
