What You'll Do Here:
- Perform month-end close tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis
- Assist in our annual financial audit, including answering questions, performing analyses, and pulling support
- Play a key role in daily accounting record maintenance, including accurate recording of accounts payable, expense reporting, customer invoicing, and cash collections
- Record daily cash transactions and play a major role in collecting outstanding receivables
- Track and maintain the fixed asset ledger, and record monthly depreciation and obsolete equipment entries
- Responsible for weekly correspondence with banking institution to ensure compliance with bank covenants
- Drive continuous process improvement, documentation, and standardization within the functional area.
- Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities
What We Need From You:
- Bachelor’s in accounting or equivalent required
- Flexible work arrangement, in the office 2-3 days most weeks
- 1-3 years professional accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize complex business issues and prepare relevant analysis
- Strong Excel skills and financial statement knowledge
- Ability to take initiative, work autonomously and handle multiple demands from multiple people
- Strong operational focus and aim to improve processes and find value-added solutions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all levels
- Work effectively as a member of the team
Stuff We Like, But Don't Require:
- CPA, or working towards CPA
- Public Accounting Experience
- Experience with Intacct accounting software
- SaaS and service industry experience
