Job Description
Cashier duties are as follows, but not limited to:
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding service which follows the S.A.L.E.S process and by mystery shop standards
- Greet customers as they enter the store. Every customer, Every time.
- Answer phone calls and direct to correct departments
- Tactfully and pleasantly deal with customers
- Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
- Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers
- Bag and/or wrap product(s) for customers
- Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked
- Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by store management
- Inform and motivate customers to open an Ace Rewards
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
- Organized, pays attention to detail, and able to multi-task
Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
- Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth
- Ability to work off a ladder at personal comfortable height
