Paralegal - Personal Injury

Our client, a trial and appellate law firm renowned for its exceptional achievements in medical malpractice cases, is looking for a Medical Malpractice Paralegal. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the firm´s medical malpractice attorney to prepare cases for trial.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of plaintiff-side personal injury procedures to assist with case management.
• Handle efiling with NYSCEF (New York State Courts Electronic Filing) efficiently and effectively.
• Skillfully prepare files for Complaint service and respond to the defendant's discovery demands.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the legal process.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to ensure smooth workflow and case progression.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a paralegal in plaintiff-side personal injury cases, specifically in medical malpractice.
• Proficiency in efiling with NYSCEF.
• Strong understanding of the legal procedures for preparing cases, including Complaint service and responding to discovery.
• Excellent client communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage and track case progress effectively.
