What are the responsibilities and job description for the UI/UX Designer position at Snickerdoodle Labs?
Design sits at the center of everything we do at Snickerdoodle Labs. This is an opportunity to create (or really invent) some of the first consumer experiences of Web3.
As a UI/UX Designer on our team, you will:
- Prepare wireframes, flows, prototypes, designs, and motion graphics using Figma.
- Clearly present and communicate design ideas, vision, and strategy through visual storytelling.
- Accurately plan and estimate design work for projects.
- Provide appropriate level of design artifacts for the team (e.g., Strategy articulation, journey maps, flows, wireframes, mockups and/or prototypes).
- Work with leadership across the company to establish best-practices and quality standards, and champion user-centered design methodologies.
- Collaborate with both users who have needs and engineers who create our products to deliver an awesome experience
- Synthesize user research with business needs to inform and evaluate design concepts throughout the product development process.
- Break down interactions and experiences thoughtfully for teams to be able to ship value incrementally (i.e., Minimum delightful experiences).
You ideally have:
- Proficiency with standard design software such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe After Effects (or any equivalent products).
- Strong experience in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, Tailwind Css.
- Experience in building SVG/CSS Animation.
- A professional portfolio with examples of your past work.
- Experience designing Web applications
- Ability to conceive of new products, create pixel-perfect designs, and convert wireframes into clickable prototypes
- A 6th sense to know when to quickly deliver “good enough” wireframes and interactive prototypes to show customers versus when to spend time ensuring the spacing and typography are flawless on every screen
- Experience working with development teams to bring a design to production
- Comfortable with rapid directional changes of focus in a startup environment

- Skilled storyteller who can make design and materials reflect core values
- Experience designing for users in Web 3 or has a Web 3 side hustle
- Cares deeply about user privacy, consent, and control
- If your portfolio contains design trends such as isometric designs, glass morphism and 3d illustrations.
