About Snowy Mountain Rifle Company:
Snowy Mountain Rifle Company was born in the mountains of Western Montana on the idea that
accuracy and reliability stand before all else. Using advanced machining processes to hold the
tightest tolerances available, we create custom long-range hunting and precision rifles. In our
machine shop we manufacture rifle parts, in our retail space and gunsmith shop we specialize in
high end custom rifle accessories, custom cerakote, gunsmithing, and our local Long-Range
Academy.
Job Responsibilities:
• Serves customers on the telephone and in the retail space.
• Responds to customers’ questions, rifle status updates, shipping questions, etc.
• Documents customer profile records by creating new or updating current.
• Manages sales transactions, processes payments, accounts for the drawer, and daily
sales for both Snowy Mountain Rifle Company and Rocky Mountain Custom Coating.
• Shipping and receiving of daily products, online orders, retail items, and custom rifles.
• Assists with inventory, ordering, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of project status.
• Light bookkeeping, file organizing, documenting, A/R and A/P.
• Light cleaning and organizing to keep retail space neat.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Exceptional interpersonal skills founded on an authentic ability to deliver strong
customer service.
• Ability to accurately complete POS transactions, operate office equipment and
technology (i.e., computers, phones, copier, etc.)
• Self-starter, problem solver and quick to pick up on fast paced work environment.
• Product knowledge of hunting or precision rifles preferred but not required.
• Productively communicates with the team and management and contributes to a positive
team environment and shop culture.
• Brings a customer-first attitude and always maintains a calm demeanor.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience working in a customer facing retail position preferred but not
required
• Firearm or hunting industry experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Standing required for majority of work shift
• Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
One hour lunch break 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
