A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLUMBING MATERIAL SPECIALISTThe Material Specialist will be responsible for the administration of plumbing material from conception to field support.
You’ll guarantee that front end pre-construction efforts for our projects remains a smooth and efficient process by managing the plumbing material process, collaborating with our Superintendents, warehouse, and management to ensure accuracy of our templates and material delivery is timely to the field.
In a fast-paced environment like New Home Construction, the Plumbing Material Specialist is an integral part of the Pre-Construction Support staff.
They must be competent, detail oriented, and flexible. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs.
The goal is to ensure that material processes during pre-construction, result in the Right Materials, being delivered to the Right Jobs, at the Right Time.
Based on your thorough understanding of the Residential building market, sheet metal materials and design practices to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
You are driven to not only meet but exceed KPI’s with your team for optimum performance. You are committed to the continued growth of the division by coordinated various activities to ensure that the materials are efficiently scheduled and available to meet the builder’s schedule, in support of our field teams.
Applying your industry knowledge and excellent communication skills, you can navigate, and problem solve obstacles easily.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PLUMBING MATERIAL SPECIALISTProven track record with Plumbing Take-OffsHands-on, practical residential new construction experienceComputer SavvyEffective time management skillsExperience with Manual J and Blue PrintsCommitted to the support of field teams through material design and delivery.
