Paralegal - Personal Injury

Have you ever aspired to a career in the legal field? Here is your chance to take the first step. Sobo & Sobo is now hiring experienced and entry-level Paralegals for our office in Audubon, NJ. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

We have a new and unique training program that will not only teach you everything you need to know but also allow you to grow and flourish with a team of seasoned professionals there to guide you every step of the way. Training will take place in our main office in Middletown, NY, or Newburgh, NY. Hotel accommodations are available.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall support to attorneys.
• Conduct research to support legal proceedings.
• Assist with the drafting/reviewing of legal documents.
• Investigate facts to assist with the negotiation of legal disputes.
• Monitor/ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Record/store client information.

Qualifications:

• Education: Paralegal Degree/ Certification is preferred but open to entry-level applicants with a demonstrated interest in the legal profession.
• Familiarity with legal research.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Deadline and detail-oriented, team player with a positive attitude.
