Paralegal - Personal Injury

Sobo & Sobo is hiring an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our rapidly growing team in our New City, NY office. Our pay is commensurate with experience. The right candidate will have experience in the Personal Injury field, and a passion for helping personal injury victims win their case.

After a year of service, we offer a hybrid option of one remote day per week and three additional flex work-from-home days per year.

Job Duties:

• Serve as point of contact for clients, providing information and obtaining information regarding case status and details, court dates, doctors appointments, etc.
• Provide overall support to attorneys.
• Conduct research to support legal proceedings.
• Drafting/reviewing of legal documents.
• Investigate facts to assist with the negotiation of legal disputes.
• Monitor/ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Record/store client information.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with legal research
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented team player with a positive attitude.
