SOCCER SHOTS NASHVILLE:
Soccer Shots Nashville stretches from Wilson, Sumner, Robertson, and Rutherford Counties to Williamson and Southern Davidson Counties. Offices are located in Nashville, TN. Soccer Shots Nashville is supported by Soccer Shots DC/MD/VA headquartered in Laurel, MD including but not limited to human resources, operations, payroll, and professional development. Soccer Shots Nashville offers programs at nearly 100 locations, serves over 1,800 participants, and employs approximately 15 part-time coaches.
REPORTS TO: Program Director
Objective of Position: As the “face” of Soccer Shots, our success is nationally recognized and locally respected. Our brand is dependent on the exemplary performance of our team. It is the Brand Ambassador’s responsibility to manage and direct all duties related to the operation of a Soccer Shots session and promotion of the seasons including, but not limited to the tasks listed below.
Program Execution
• Coaching a minimum of 28 sessions per week Summer/Winter & 30 sessions per week Fall/Spring seasons is included in the position requirement and compensation.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
• Conducting high-energy, fun, organized Soccer Shots sessions.
• Following proper weekly Soccer Shots lesson plan.
• Train coaches on-site and update team on progress.
• Evaluate instructors
• Submit evaluation of instructor online and communicate with coach within 24-48 hours of the evaluation.
• Attending coaches’ meetings and training.
• Maintaining equipment set in proper condition.
• Arrive Early. “On-Time” is late: This means getting to your site at least 10-15 (schools) and 15- 20 (parks) minutes early so you are set up and children are on the field at scheduled start time.
• Update attendance records daily. Communicate with team of any issues, additions etc.
• Boost enrollment at sites through the use of guest passes.
Marketing and Communications:
• Distribution of seasonal marketing materials for Soccer Shots programs. Seasonal drop offs for registrations, final reminders and public program marketing material.
• Enhance relationships with directors and parents. Communicate courteously with site directors, teachers and parents. Engage in conversation and small-talk. Always smile and be positive when representing our brand.
• Locating marketing opportunities in the community for Soccer Shots.
• Running program demos at partner sites, public programs and other Soccer Shots events.
• Assisting with direct mail preparation and distribution, promoting park programs.
• Representing Soccer Shots at industry events, open houses, etc.
Working Hours/Location/Schedule: The job description above is a full-time, non-exempt (overtime eligible) position requiring 40 hours of work per week. Your weekly agenda will be assigned by the Regional Director. You will work out your schedule details with your supervisor.
Physical/work Environment Requirements: This position functions in an inside/outside sports environment over 75% of the time. Work requires ability to run, stop, stoop, bend (a physical, exercise type regimen) in a minimum of 40-minute increments per session. The position requires use of hands, arms, legs and feet, as well as excellent vision skills (with or without correction) and may include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. Moderate gymnasium-like noises are associated with this position.
Program Objectives:
1. For Soccer Shots to be the best run, most popular, and most successful elective program offered in the area.
2. For Soccer Shots to have a reputation of excellence (i.e. “that’s the group that does that awesome soccer program...my kids loved it...those instructors are great”). An objective measure of each territory’s reputation for quality will be learned in the Net Promoter Score survey conducted at the end of each fall and spring season 3. To be a Top 10% franchise in participant registration and revenue (in category) and per capita rating and to meet and exceed seasonal and annual enrollment and revenue goals
Key Performance Measurables:
1. Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—responds immediately to customers (parents, directors, staff), and always responds to supervisor and other Soccer Shots support staff within 24 hours.
2. Meet weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develop systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with your time.
3. Achieve a minimum NPS score of 9 at assigned sessions for the season
4. Meet seasonal performance goals. Go above and beyond company expectations to sell, promote and market our program prior to each season.
5. Adhere to all company policies and represent Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity
Commitments: Soccer Shots employees are committed to representing Soccer Shots in a fashion consistent with descriptions in the company’s Brand Book. Compensation is based on performance, and Soccer Shots reserves the right to terminate employment for failure to meet expectations. We have expectations that can be reasonably met, assuming employees are investing their time into developing the
business. While employees have the support of the Regional Director, their success is dependent upon their ability to provide excellent customer service and to manage the business professionally.
Performance Evaluation and Reviews: Soccer Shots will perform an initial review after 60 days.
