Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Social Media Marketing Specialist. As a Social Media Marketing Specialist at Socialry Marketing, you will be responsible for assisting in content strategy, production, and distribution for our social account, and some client accounts. This includes creating engaging content, monitoring and analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date on industry trends. While the role is located in Wilmington, NC, there is flexibility for some remote work. The Social Media Specialist is expected to work 10 hours per week or less.

• Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing skills
• Experience in Social Media Content Creation
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Ability to create engaging and creative content
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
• Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data
• Adept at multitasking and managing multiple client accounts
• Experience with marketing tools and software
• Relevant certifications or degree in Marketing or related field
• Experience with graphic design and visual content creation is a plus
• Canva experience
• Adobe Suite experience (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator)
• Capcut experience

A Day In The Life of The Social Media Specialist:

As marketers, our days can change from sitting in the office all day editing, to out and about shooting content around Wilmington.

Day starts at 9am:

• Research: scroll social platforms and gather trend, and content info
• Research Cont: review industry specific email newsletters for content
• Organic engagement: search keywords associated with the client's business. Find similar content, like, and comment on the post

10am:

• Film Jack (the Owner) for short form video content
• Edit short form video

11:30am:

• Create graphics for social media
• Organize and schedule graphics, content, and copy for social media
