What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Quality Manager position at SODECIA?
Hierarchically reports to Plant Manager Functionally reports to N/A Job Title Quality Engineering Supervisor Replacement in case of absence Plant Manager or other Manager or associates after EUN approval.
Responsibilities & Duties • Responsible to manage and follow up on all non-quality costs; • Responsible to manage and follow up on all activities associated with suppliers quality audits;
- Define corrective actions concerning Quality Assurance (5PB Methodology), participate and validate the root-cause and effectiveness of corrective actions;
- Complete any customer related reports for non-conformance and keep customer updated; • Participation on managing and follow up on all APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities and submit PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) on time;
- Manage and follow up DMR ( Defective Material Report) and suppliers performance; • Stop any process or activity in order to prevent any non-conformity according quality system (legal, statutory or product); • Implement the policies and procedures defined in terms of Quality Assurance; • Manage and control all the actions defined to reach the Quality Assurance targets for the Business Unit;
- Responsible to follow up and manage all KPI´s related to Quality Assurance and respective reports; • Manage the suppliers quality performance and suppliers concerns follow up;
- Coordinate lab and metrology activities. Knowledge, Skills (Essential) General Human Resources & Safety IT&K Existent New Commercial Manufacturing Quality, Projects & Compliance Maintenance MP&LD Manager Production Competitiveness
- High level of leadership, teamwork and communication skills; - IT Knowledge in terms of Word, Excel, Internet e Electronic Mail. MSA (Measurement System Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), QSA QSA (Quality System Assessment), FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), Customer Specific´s, Critical Incident, VSM (Value Stream Mapping), etc.; - Knowledge and Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing); - Knowledge in ISO/TS 16949 / ISO 14001/ VDA
6. Languages N/A Education & Qualification • University degree in quality or industrial engineering, management or similar. Experience & Others • 3 years of manufacturing related experience with hands on operational knowledge (preferably two (2) years practical experience in automotive industry manufacturing environment) ;
