If you’re the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork, we have several opportunities for Airport Attendants to join our Operations team, working on a 2:1 (two weeks on, one week off) Fly-In-Fly-Out roster across Western Australia’s remote sites.
When working at the aerodrome your role as an Airport Attendant may include the following duties;
- Check in duties
- Monitoring and answering the common traffic advisory frequency (CTAF radio)
- Compiling manifests;
- Baggage handling
- Maintaining aerodrome buildings and grounds
In this role you may assist as a Service Attendant and could be working in the following departments;
- Housekeeping
- Catering
- Mine Site Cleaning / Grounds
- Retail
Who are we looking for?
We’d love to hear from you if you’ve had previous experience working in aerodromes (check in, baggage handling or other airport duties). Safety is at the forefront of our operations so you must share our passion for working to high safety standards. . Our Airport Attendants are team players, have a can-do attitude, are flexible and always remain focused on safety and service delivery. To be successful, you’ll need:
- Relevant experience
- Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights
- Current Western Australian Drivers License
- Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check
- You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months
This is a great role for someone who likes varied duties, is flexible and able to multi-task. It is essential to understand you have to be adaptable in this role to work in both the aerodrome and our service attendant departments.
Working on-site with our teams means you’ll be working 11 hours per day on a 2:1 (two weeks on, one week off) roster often in extreme environments. So having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day!
